Compared with other products on the market, our heated clothing have larger heating panels, so they need a power pack with higher output power. It is not enough to use a normal 5V output power bank, since it can usually only heat up 3 zones. However, our heated jackets/vests/hoodies have built-in 5-6 heating zones with 30% larger than 5V heated clothing heating zones, so we specially designed 7.4V battery pack with DC port for heating clothing as DC port output power pack is higher. Thus, the Venustas heating suits are powered by 7.4V battery packs, which is a ideal choose.
Besides, as a rule of thumb when evaluating heated clothing, the higher the voltage, the hotter the heat output and the greater the coverage area. If you did the same experiment with the same heat system and powered it with a 7-volt battery and a 5V battery, the 7-volt version will be warmer.
7.4V Battery Pack Is Safer Than 5V
