Venustas Battery Heated Clothing Troubleshooting Guide
Thank you for purchasing Venustas heated clothing! Now that you've owned the excellent heated jacket/ heated vest, just try it on! However, things would not always go the right way. You may encounter some issues out of expectation while wearing this item.
We'll be so sorry for that and will try our best to fix it. That's why we created the step-by-step troubleshooting guide. To solve your problem as soon as possible, we need to know more details. Before you contact us, please read and follow this guide.
Based on our customer feedback, we conclude some common issues.
- Battery LCD displays nothing (Note: Only the older version of the 7.4V battery has an LCD; the new version does not.)
- Battery LCD only shows the number when inserting the USB ports.
- Power button cannot flash in red/white/blue light.
- Power button flashes red, white, and blue in a loop but doesn’t respond when pressed again.
- Power button can circularly flash in red/white/blue light but the light quickly goes out.
- Heating settings sometimes malfunction (e.g., the apparel switches to medium or high heat even when set to low).
- Apparel won’t turn on when connected to a fully charged battery but works when the cable is partially inserted into the battery port.
If you’re experiencing any of these issues or have other questions, follow these steps to diagnose the problem.
Part 1: Check your battery
Note: This method can be used on 5V and 7.4V batteries.
Step 1: Press the battery button
After doing this, check if the battery indicator light flashes. For the older battery version, you’ll see the charge level number on the left side.

YES → Go on to the Step 2.
NO→ We are so sorry that there's something wrong with the battery. Please contact our customer support team with pictures and a detailed description. We will help you fix the issue as soon as possible.
Step 2: Charge your phone with this battery
Please use the battery to charge your phone and see if it powers up. This will help us determine if the battery is working properly. No need to worry. Our batteries are designed with a Type-C port used to charge your mobile phone.

If the battery cannot charge your phone, we’re sorry to hear that there’s an issue. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with pictures and a detailed description, and we’ll provide a satisfactory solution for you.

Part 2: Check your heated jacket/ heated vest
Step 1
Plug the cable (inside the pocket) in the battery and to see if the power button on your apparel will flash 3s in red/white/blue light.

YES → Go on to the Step 2.
NO→ Please re-plug the cable first. If it's still not working, we are so sorry that there's something wrong with the apparel. Please contact us with pictures and a detailed description. We'll provide a satisfactory solution for you.
Step 2
Now press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds to preheat this item. A blinking red light, right?

YES → Go on to the Step 3.
NO→ We are so sorry that there's something wrong with the apparel. Don't hesitate to contact us for assistance.
Step 3
Set your apparel on a high level. After about 1 minute, touch the lining to see if there's an obvious sense of heat.
YES → Everything is alright with your battery heated clothing! Nothing to worry about!
