How to Use Venustas Heated Jacket?[2025 Update]

While many people love their heated jackets, first-time buyers might not be sure how to use them. If you're feeling the same way, here’s a quick guide to help you get started with your Venustas heated jacket.
How Do Heated Jackets Work?
The Venustas heated jacket features built-in heating elements in the lining, powered by rechargeable batteries to keep you warm. With a simple press of the heating button on the front of the jacket, you can easily control the heat and stay comfortable at your ideal temperature.
How Long Do Heated Jackets Last?
The working time of the heated jacket is primarily determined by its battery. With the development of battery technology, we currently provide four battery options: Venustas-5K battery, Venustas 7.5K battery, and Venustas 10K battery. These batteries with different features are designed to meet various needs and preferences of users.
- Venustas 5K Battery. Compared with other options, this battery is more lightweight and more compact without sacrificing working hours significantly. After testing, this battery can provide up to 10 working hours for 7.4V heated apparel with 5 heating zones.
- Venustas 7.5K Battery. With a higher capacity, this battery allows to power our 7.4V heated apparel (5-6 heating zones) for up to 13 hours, which effectively extends the heating duration. If you're looking to strike a balance between weight and running time, this battery is an ideal option.
- Venustas 10K Battery. This type of battery boosts the largest capacity that outperforms the market. For most of our 7.4V heated apparel, it delivers the power for up to 20 hours. (Up to 30 hours for heated apparel with 3 heating zones). Also, the full capacity can charge iPhone 15 and Galaxy S10 up to 4 times.
How to Use Venustas Heated Jacket?
Step 1: Fully charge the battery.
You should fully charge the battery for the first time.
Step 2: Connect the battery and the heated jacket.
Please connect the battery and the heated jacket. You can see the power button on your heated jacket will flash 3s in red/white/blue light.
For 5K battery, there are two DC outputs for charging the 7.4V heated apparel and other electric devices. For the 7.5K battery and 10K battery, there are 3 output ports for charging 7.4V heated apparel, 12V heated apparel, and other electric devices.
Step 3: Turn on the heated jacket.

You should press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds. The button will blink red light. This step is to preheat the heated jacket. To save energy, the heated jacket will automatically adjust to medium heat (blinking white light) after 5 minutes of preheated time.
Step 4: Adjust the heating level
You can change the heating level by pressing the button. There are three heat settings, indicated by the button's light: high (red), medium (white), and low (blue), each with different temperatures and heating durations.
Step 5: Turn off the heated jacket.
You should press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds until LED turns off when you want to power off the heated jacket.
How to Maintain Venustas Heated Jacket?
There are 2 parts to the maintenance of Venustas heated jacket, let’s see them one by one.
Battery maintenance
- You should fully charge the battery every three months to extend the battery life. It often takes 2-4 hours.
- Don’t expose the battery to liquids.
- Don’t disassemble the battery
- Avoid dropping the battery to prevent any damage.

Apparel maintenance
- Only wash the heated jacket in cold water.
- Remember to disconnect and remove the battery from the heated jacket before you wash it.
- If you want to use machine washing, please use a laundry or mesh bag.
- Don’t dry the heated jacket.
- Don't bleach.
- Don’t wring or twist the heated jacket after washing.
