Stopped turning on heat after 2 months but they replaced it with a new vest

I was in search of a heated vest, and this one fits the bill. It's a good fit, stylish, and provided excellent warmth when it was functioning. Unfortunately, it stopped working after two months (approximately 10 charges), which is disappointing. I understand that electronics can be finicky. I wasn't rough with the vest. I also purchased a jacket for myself and a vest for my wife, so I'll wait to see how those perform before considering another vest purchase.

Great for walking on cool day, and keeps reverse shoulder warm and neck very comfortable.

Comfort Heated Vest

Original price was $139. I bought this heated vest on Black Friday for $98. It took one week to arrive. The vest came inside a carrying bag which also had the battery (7.4V, 5000 mAh), USB-C cable, charger. I am 5ft7. I bought large size. It is very comfortable but just a little long for me. After turning it on by pressing the button, I could feel the heat within 2 minutes around my neck. I wear this vest in the past 2 weeks when the temperature was around 35-45OC. I found the vest was good if wearing a light jacket outside the vest so to trap the heat from the vest. I tried to wear a sweater with the vest. The wind just blew away the heat from the vest. Battery life….once the vest was turned on, the button turned red. Within minutes, it would turn to white on its own. Battery should last 6-7 hrs in white setting. But I found the battery ran out in 4 hrs. Luckily, I just charge the battery every other day at my work. Battery is charged by USB-C w/ charger. It takes about 2-3 hrs to fully charged….not too bad. It is just the size of the mouse. It stores inside of the vest. The material of the vest is durable. Inside layer of the vest is similar to Columbia vest. It traps heat inside the vest pretty good. Can't wait to test when it is colder weather.

The Venustas Heated Vest - a true winter essential!

Used my vest for the first time today on my daily walk in 40-degree weather. The vest kept me warm throughout the entire hour walk. With the battery connected and held in a zippered inside pocket, the vest is very lightweight. The 7.4-volt battery heats for up to 10 hours on the low setting, 6 hours on medium, and 3 hours on high. It advertises to be wind and water-resistant, and I hope that it is since I'll be wearing it to my granddaughter's outdoor soccer games here in rainy Oregon.

Initially skeptical due to the off-brand name, but the vest warms up quickly, and the neck heater is fantastic. Opted for the upgraded battery for the price. It took the chill off while sitting in a treestand on a chilly November morning in New England.

Once you understand how to operate this apparel, it becomes a valuable product, especially during our cold, rainy weather in northern California. It took a few wears to learn about the battery life and temperature adjustment, but once you do, it becomes indispensable.
